The Election Commission chief, Rajiv Kumar, with the announcement of election schedule has also revealed the data revolving around the constituencies, sex ratio, first time voters, polling personnel and various other crucial steps in making the process as transparent as possible. The conference did not ended in the form of monologue since various journalists from different media houses were provided with the opportunity to put up the questions related to the polls, action against the defaulters and previous data on handling with such issues and the scope of improvement so far. As per the EC approximately 1/6th of the population will be going through the election process which is not only crucial for the residents of the state but also for the entire nation. In the span of forty days the team visited all the five states and conducted survey and held discussion with various Political parties and enforcement agencies of both central and state level, including, Income tax, Narcotics, RBI, Banks, Coastal guards, civil aviation, RPF, GRP, state police etc and trued to include the suggestions and feedbacks from them.

In addition to this the EC has also come with the other safety and vigil methods where they have tried to digitalize the entire process of complaining against the abusers and defaulters. By bringing up the cVigil App to report any such incidents or by enhancing the election seizure management system, the body has tried to include the citizens at every level. The body has ensure action in 100minutuews for every reporting. New changes are also going to be witnessed in the standard practice of postal ballot where the postal ballot will be available only at the facilitation centers.

The Assembly elections of these five states prior to the national elections will serve as the testing pitch for the Election Commission of India for all the new changes that they have come forward with.            With increased level of accountability and transparency through the digital initiatives and other inclusive methods, the EC is not only hopeful in successfully achieving the goal of creating the procedure voter friendly but also a high voter turnout with increased participation from the least privileged and marginalized section of the society.

Why Has the Modi Government Failed in So Many Places? https://nacionstory.com/2023/08/21/why-has-the-modi-government-failed-in-so-many-places/ https://nacionstory.com/2023/08/21/why-has-the-modi-government-failed-in-so-many-places/#respond Mon, 21 Aug 2023 14:49:15 +0000 https://nacionstory.com/?p=1193 On one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is engaged in making all the stations hi-tech in the whole country under Amrit Bharat Yojana, while on the other hand, even after 75 years of independence, there are some places in India where even basic facilities have not reached till date. .

The case is from Nagaur in Rajasthan, where the citizens of the local stations have to agitate for the facilities, they have to protest, this did not work, so a social worker of Nagaur had to sit on a hunger strike.

The situation there is such that there is no difference between the platform and the land of the station, waiting hall, foot overbridge is a very distant thing. People sitting on hunger strike said that apart from facilities in Nagaur, stoppage of trains I am also being discriminated against. During the Corona period, stoppage of two trains at Nagaur was stopped citing Corona, but even after so many days of normalcy, their operations have not been started from Nagaur.

The government is still proving to be a failure at many places in providing proper facilities to the people even during the golden age of independence. To cover up the Nagaur case, State Vice President cum former Union Minister C R Chaudhary reaches there and goes on a hunger strike. He goes back after giving assurance to the sitting people. Talking to the media, Mr. Chaudhary said that his demands will be fulfilled very soon, for which he will talk to the Railway Minister and top officials.

The question arises whether Mr. Chowdhary is the authority of the Railways or the representative of the Railway Minister, how will he get all these things completed quickly. Well, the trains which could not stop after Corona, should they start with the assurance of Mr. Chowdhary Will go. And in how many days it will start, it will be seen. Or this will also turn out to be just a jumla.
