Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana’s 18th installment to be released today, 9.4 crore farmers to benefit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana today. This installment will be transferred directly (DBT) to the farmers’ accounts from the Washim district of Maharashtra. Under the 18th installment, an amount of ₹2,000 will be deposited into the accounts of eligible farmers. Over 9.4 crore farmers across the country will benefit, with a total of ₹20,000 crore being distributed. Earlier, on June 18, Prime Minister Modi had released the 17th installment. Under this scheme, landholding farmers are provided a total of ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments. Farmers receive ₹2,000 in each installment. Once today’s 18th installment is released, a total of more than ₹3.45 lakh crore will have been transferred to the accounts of eligible farmers since the scheme’s inception.

The objective of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is to provide financial assistance to all landholding farmer families in the country. Through this scheme, income support is provided to farmers to boost their income and strengthen the agriculture sector. The scheme focuses on improving the financial condition of small and marginal farmers.

1.First, go to the official PM Kisan Yojana website pmkisan.gov.in.

2.On the home page, you will find the option called ‘Farmer Corner’. Select it.

3.On the new page, click on ‘Beneficiary List’.

4.After this, you will need to select your state, district, block, and village.

5.Click on ‘Get Report’.

6.The list of beneficiaries will appear, where you can check if your name is included.

If your name is on the list, it means you will receive the benefit of the scheme. If your name is not listed, you can contact the relevant authorities with the required documents to reassess your eligibility. The main objective of this scheme is to reduce the financial problems of farmers and provide them with financial assistance for farming.
