Pakistan Cricketer Shoaib Malik Announces Second Marriage to Actor Sana Javed

In a social media revelation, former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has announced his second marriage to Pakistani actor Sana Javed. Both Malik and Javed took to their respective social media accounts to share pictures confirming the joyous news which sparked a reaction from fans, particularly after recent rumors of Malik’s separation from tennis star Sania Mirza.

Shoaib Malik, who had previously divorced Ayesha Siddiqui in 2010, married Sania Mirza later that same year. Adding to the revelation, Sana Javed updated her Instagram bio, now identifying herself as Sana Shoaib Malik. Notably, Sana Javed was previously married to singer Umar Jaswal from 2020, and the couple finalized their divorce in November 2023. Shoaib Malik, previously married to Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza, is a father to their five-year-old son Izaan.

The announcement follows a cryptic quote shared by Mirza on her Instagram stories a couple of days ago, where she reflected on the challenges of marriage and divorce. The couple, who got married in 2010 and resided in the UAE, parted ways. In a recent event,star athletes Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza marked a special occasion as their son, Izhaan, won a medal in a swimming competition.

Shoaib Malik took to his Instagram account to share the joyous news, while Izhaan’s dedicated Instagram profile, managed by Sania Mirza, posted images capturing the proud moment after the successful swimming competition Sania Mirza, one of India’s most successful tennis players, announced her retirement last year after a remarkable career spanning two decades. With 43 WTA doubles titles and one singles trophy to her name, Mirza has been celebrated as a trailblazer for women in sports.

Recently, she assumed the role of mentor for the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Women’s Premier League. Shoaib Malik, still actively participating in T20 cricket worldwide, has not retired from the shortest format of the game. The 37-year-old continues to make significant contributions on the cricket field, maintaining a dynamic presence in the global T20 arena .
